Beautiful Keepsake to Mark an Important Chapter in the History of the Scots in Canada
The Pictou Bee Press has commissioned this special limited-edition pin to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the arrival of the ship Hector in Pictou, Nova Scotia, in 1773. This handsome souvenir pin is a modified likeness of a medal produced in 1923 to mark the 150th Hector anniversary.
Our substantial pin is 1.25 inches in diameter and made of zinc alloy with an antique silver finish. It is held securely by a butterfly clasp and comes with an attractive commemorative bookmark and a swatch of Nova Scotia tartan.
