Gathering In: COVID-19 Silver Linings by Twenty-Six Writers, Chad Norman

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic - with all the fear and loss experienced daily - there have been surprising moments of clarity, of understanding, appreciation, awareness, creativity and innovation that filter through. These COVID-19 "silver linings" elevate; they lift us above the lockdown of masks and bubbles and restricted human connections that control out lives.

'Gathering In' is a collection of Nova Scotia silver linings: stories, memoirs, poems, lyrics, art and spoken-word poetry created during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The catalyst for each creative piece was recognized and felt acutely because of Nova Scotia's lockdown from April to July of 2020.
